Hey, two are missing...
It was a windy day yesterday. But even with the strong wind going in every direction, the unwavering avocado tree is resilient from the winds' pressure. It would also rain or shine a few times during the day but we were able to gather eight avocados. We have now a total of forty-three and we're still counting.
We're all crazy about avocados. I don't know anyone who does not like them. I'm not surprised why David Wolfe inserted "Avocado" as his middle name. I hope there's enough avocados to make a pasta dish, a few sandwiches, a smoothie, a fruit salad with nut milk, more salads, maybe some dressings and salsas and of course ice cream.
I am intrigued by avocado and ice-cream. As a fruit, I shouldn't be surprised of its use in a 'sweet'. I always have an avocado on hand. They are just delicious!
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky. I cannot imagine having an avocado tree! And I can't wait to read about your dishes. I love avocado soup and of course, guacamole, but ice cream??! I'm game.
ReplyDeleteOh, those look lovely. I have a wonderful recipe for Chocolado Pudding made with avocado and dates and a whole assortment of other healthy, delicous things. No one who eats it has a clue it's made with avocado, at all. Seeing your beautiful harvest makes me want to whip up a batch!!
ReplyDeleteLisa
That's something different that I've never tried before Lisa. Can you share the recipe? :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll be posting your pasta dish with avocado. That sounds delicious and I don't think I've seen a pasta recipe with avocado. The fruit salad with nut milk sounds really interesting, too:)
ReplyDeleteI hope there's enough avocados....more than enough, actually.
ReplyDeleteGreat Photo Divina!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dawn.
ReplyDeleteI love avocado. Looks so fresh in the picture. I love avocado mixed with condensed milk to make a drink.
ReplyDeleteAs a Assie, we eat Avocados on toast with Vegemite, with a bit of cracked Pepper.
ReplyDeleteHi Divina Pe!
ReplyDeleteI really love the photo of the avocados lined up on what looks to be a stone street. May I use this photo for my blog? I would credit you and your blog, of course.
