Mary’s blog site Keep Learning and Keep Smiling is about cooking simple and delicious meals for her family and friends. You’ll notice that Mary is blogging her dishes every single day and that’s what she cooks and serves her family. How I wish she can cook for me everyday just like daddy used to cook for us. Check out Mary's blog for easy to prepare dishes for the whole family without the complication but only made with a sincere heart and pure joy for the people she loves.
For my guest blog post, I shared a recipe that my brother purposely asked me to do, which is a Chickpea and Celery Soup with Celery Pesto, along with a speech that I partly wrote for him for his wedding day a few weeks ago. So, check out my guest post and recipe at Keep Learning and Keep Smiling. Hope you like it.

Erica of My Columbian Recipes also asked me to guest post on her blog and I submitted my Sesame and Bonito Flakes Crusted Tofu which was posted last November 28. Inspired by her grandmother, Erica’s blog is full of wonderful recipes from Columbia and all over the world. So, make sure to visit her site to discover interesting and delicious Columbian flavors.
Health Blogger Award
Eleven months has just gone by. It’s officially December and you still have two weeks to vote for me for Health Blogger Award at Wellsphere. I know that it is quite taxing for some people to sign up. Wellsphere explained to me that they require people to sign up to avoid multiple votes by a single person and to avoid this awards to become a popularity contest. Just click “Help Me Win” on the upper right column and it will direct you to their site. Unfortunately, I still need more than 170 votes. For those who have voted for me with their encouraging words, thank you.
Thank you very much Mary and Erica for inviting me to be your guest on your blog. Until next time.
congrats again on your nomination, I voted for you already and hope you win! :) I'm also into soups lately but i'm sorry to say chickpea and celery are the least of my favorites, haha :D anyhow, thanks for sharing and i'm sure this one still has lots of fans

ReplyDeleteHi Divina. The site for the templates is: http://www.simplyfabulousbloggertemplates.com. I also found free templates at www.pyzam.com, but I like the simply fabulous ones the most and mostly they are free.
ReplyDeleteAs far as downloading them, it is really easy. You don't have to go in and change any of the code yourself, but it will change automatically when the template is uploaded.
Just download the template to your computer, then go to Layout on your blogger dashboard and choose Edit HTML. There you will see the button to browse and find the template on your computer and upload your template.
If you have an email address I can email you a few more tips that I learned. It's easy, but there are just a couple things to be aware of (that I learned the hard way).
Have a great day!
hi divina,
ReplyDeleteI've been following your blog for a couple of weeks now. I am an amateur blogger( I started a little over a month ago) and I'm learning a lot from you! I joined foodbuzz because of the post that you've shared on your anniversary!
I love your blog... and I hope we could be "friends" virtually!
Maraming Salamat!
The soup looks really warming and delicious, on my way to check out the recipe! Congrats on your award nomination!
ReplyDeleteThe soup looks wonderful. It's a chilly day here, and I would love to have a bowl for dinner!
ReplyDeleteBen nohut çorba seviyorum!
ReplyDeleteI wish I loved celery...if only for the way the soup looks!
ReplyDeleteYour Bonito encrusted tofu slices are incredibly gorgeous and look super delicious! I am definitely going to try this soon! I only know a few tofu dishes and this looks like something I would thoroughly enjoy. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeletesorry Divina for just now getting to you - been so far behind but I did enjoy this on Mary's post - what a great friend you are and what a wonderful family you have - God bless ya'll...
ReplyDeleteThe bonito crust looks wonderful and I'll bet the sesame really takes the tofu to new taste heights. YuM! It's been a while since I've bought tofu. I suppose there's no time like the present.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely posts Divina; is this my first time here? If it is, I must tell you what a wonderful place you have here, and your pictures are truly beautiful.
ReplyDeletethanks for visiting and for the greetings! since you asked about soups, have you ever tried the soups at Soup Kitchen before in Megamall? I always order their hearty Chili (with cheese & nacho toppings), and their Clam Chowder. You have any good receipes?
ReplyDeleteThe vote does speak for me.
ReplyDeleteGood luck.
Ooops, what happens...thought I've commented..?? Can't figure out...hmmm. By the way, thanks for writing such a wonderful, meaningful post for my blog. Lovely wedding photo!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Divina I am cheering for you, I am certain you will win with your talent and beautiful pictures!! Man i Love bonito and tofu, it is truly a wonderful combination :)
ReplyDeletecongrats, and gorgeous, gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteYUM, what tasty dishes those must be! Bonito flakes are a bit strong -- I tend to use them in soup, but they do have a nice crunch. How funny that they're sold as cat treats in the States. I did indeed vote, so I wish you all the best!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. Thank you for that wonderful guest post :)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful post, thanks Mary and Divina.
